Tejava Black Tea with Cranberry Syrup

Prep time: 5 minutes. Cook time: 2 minutes



½ cup tejava black tea

2 tablespoons fresh cranberries

¼ cup sugar

¼ cup water

2 sprigs fresh rosemary

Ice cubes

2 oz vodka (alcohol option)* 



  1. Heat a small saucepan at medium heat, add sugar, water, 1 tablespoon fresh cranberries, and a sprig of fresh rosemary. Boil for 2 minutes, then remove from heat and let it cool. Cranberry syrup is ready.
  2. To a mixer, add remaining fresh cranberries and rosemary, few ice cubes along with 2 oz of prepared cranberry syrup. Muddle the ingredients until crushed. Cover the mixer and shake for 25 seconds and strain over glass filled with crushed ice.
  3. Fill the glass with tajava black tea. Garnish with sugar coated cranberries and rosemary and serve immediately.


*Recipe notes

To make it as cocktail, just add 2 oz of vodka.
